Voice-first journal for long-only traders
The journal you keep in your head
You already say it out loud — in the car, after the close, to a friend. Typing it into a spreadsheet is the part you skip. SayTrade closes that gap: one sentence, one review, one tap.
- Speak it in English or Arabic
- The AI drafts, you decide
- Every number comes from your own notes
Three steps, every time
Record a note. Check what was read. Approve it.
- 1
Speak
“I opened a position today in Nvidia, I bought 100 shares at 10, my stop is 9, my target is 12.” A typed note works too, and skips the transcription.
- 2
Review
The AI shows what it read: one summary line and the changes it proposes. Every value is editable. A missing number is a normal gap — fill it, then approve.
- 3
Approve
One tap applies everything at once. The trade, the stop, the numbers. Nothing lands before you approve it.
Two changes, one sentence
Shares held, average price, the stop, R, realized P&L — all read from your own notes, never from a form you filled.
“I sold half at 12 and moved the stop to 10.5.”
Sold half at 12 and moved the stop to 10.5.
Two changes, one sentence
- TRIMhalf the position · at 12
- STOPnew stop 10.5
Numbers you never type
Shares held, average price, the stop, R, realized P&L — all read from your own notes, never from a form you filled.
- Shares held
- 50
- Average price
- 10
- Stop
- 10.5
- Planned R
- 2R
- Realized P&L
- 100
A real example: opened 100 shares at 10 with a stop at 9 and a target at 12, then said “I sold half at 12 and moved the stop to 10.5.”
One trade, from the first sentence to the last
This is the real thing, not a demo: every number below is what the journal derives from these six spoken sentences. Read the position after each one, and notice that you can see the argument before you approve it.
- 1OPEN
I opened a position today in Nvidia, I bought 100 shares at 10, my stop is 9, my target is 12.
The AI read this: Opened NVDA — 100 shares at 10, stop 9, target 12.
Proposed change
- OPEN100 shares · at 10 · stop 9 · target 12
The trade then reads
- Shares
- 100

- 2ADD
I bought another 50 at 10.6 — resistance broke.
The AI read this: Added 50 shares at 10.6.
Proposed change

The trade then reads

- Average
- 10.20

I sold half at 12.
The AI read this: Sold half at 12 — 75 shares.

The trade then reads

- Average

- 4STOP
I moved the stop to 10.5, a higher low formed.
The AI read this: Moved the stop from 9 to 10.5.

The AI read this: Raised the target from 12 to 13.
Proposed change
- TARGETnew target 13
The trade then reads
- Target
- 13
- Planned R
- 2.33
- 6CLOSE
I'm completely out — sold the rest at 12.5. It was a type 2 trade. My lesson: I should have held longer.
The AI read this: Closed the rest at 12.5 — 75 shares. Type 2. Lesson: hold longer.
Proposed change
- CLOSE75 shares · at 12.5
The trade then reads
- Shares
- 0
- Realized P&L
- 307.50
- Realized R
- 1.71
Six sentences. No form, no spreadsheet, no number typed twice.
The stop moved on the fourth sentence and the R did not follow it — it still counts from the stop you opened with. Payment for the whole trade is 307.50 on 150 shares, and the last sentence is the one a year from now will teach you the most.
The cases a real trader hits
Every one of these is handled, and none of them is guessed at.
A number you forgot.
“Half” is not a number of shares. The note is saved and marked as missing its share count, the review screen shows the gap, you fill it in one tap, and approve.
I sold half at 12.
Saved as is, gap and all
A sale that cannot be true.
Sell more than you hold and the journal stops you with the numbers it knows: “Selling 150 shares exceeds the 100 shares held in NVDA.” The note stays saved for you to fix, and nothing in the position moves.
A note that holds no trade at all.
Your reasoning is part of the record. Saved with its one summary line, position untouched — and welcome even on a trade you closed months ago.
I saw a reverse candle, I will wait for tomorrow's candle for confirmation.
No change proposed, none applied
R that keeps the risk you actually took.
Move the stop and the planned R still counts from the stop you opened with. Your scorecard does not get kinder because you moved a line later.
Arabic and English in one journal.
The transcript and the summary both stay in the language you spoke, and a mixed note is read as one note. Your history is in the language you thought in that day.
Discard a reading that is wrong.
Do not argue with a bad transcription. Discard it and the note, the audio, and the reading are gone for good. Only an unapproved note can go — an approval is history.
What you get
Five things this app does that a spreadsheet never will.
Arabic or English. It listens in both.
Say it in Egyptian Arabic or in English. The transcript stays in your language, and so does the one-line summary.
“فتحت صفقة في البنك التجاري اشتريت 100 سهم على 129.5 والستوب 125 والهدف 140”
Long only, by design.
A buy adds. A sell trims. There is no direction to get wrong and no short to manage — SayTrade cannot do the thing you never do.
Some notes are only words.
“I saw a reverse candle, I will wait for tomorrow's candle.” Saved with the thought, and the position untouched. The journal keeps your reasoning, not just your trades.
“I saw a reverse candle, I will wait for tomorrow's candle for confirmation.”
Your words, plus one line.
Every note keeps exactly what you said, and adds one AI summary line. Your words are the record; the summary is for scanning a year later.
One stop per trade.
A stop you move replaces the old one. A stop that belongs to one added portion stays in your words — SayTrade does not invent a second stop for you.

The limit is on open trades, never on notes. A follow-up on a trade you already hold is always recorded — and a note refused at the limit stays saved, ready to approve the moment a slot frees up.
Questions
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. Speak Arabic or English. The transcript and the summary stay in the language you used.
Do I have to type anything?
No. Speak and stop. If you would rather write it, a typed note skips the transcription — and only voice notes count against the monthly AI limit.
What happens if I forget a number?
The note is saved and marked with the gap. The review screen shows it, you fill it in one tap, and approve.
Can I record a short position?
No. SayTrade is long only on purpose: a buy adds, a sell trims, and there is no direction field to get wrong.
Is the AI trading for me?
No. It reads your note and drafts the changes. Nothing touches a position until you approve it.
What does it cost?
Free holds 3 active trades with unlimited notes. Pro removes that limit and has no price yet — payments are not open. Start free, and nothing you record is lost.
Can I fix a note after I approve it?
Not yet. An approved note is the record. Record a new note with the correction, and the numbers follow it.
